Salford Capital Appeal
Retail Trust is currently running a £1 million capital appeal for the development of 50 brand new flats for retired people in Salford.
The total cost of its development at Salford will be £8.4 million. The Moores family made a significant contribution of £3.2 million to enable this project to get started. Retail Trust has also invested £4.2 million from our capital reserves which leaves us with £1 million to raise in order to complete the project. When finished, Moores House, Salford will offer residents maximum independence, safety and security in affordable, high-quality housing built to the latest standards.
Alan White, CEO of N Brown is chairing a group to support the appeal. He is joined by Alistair McGeorge, CEO, Matalan; Peter Johnson, Group Executive Chairman, Park Group plc; Mark Newton-Jones, Group Executive, Littlewoods; Mike Clare, Founder and President of Dreams and his wife Carol Clare.
