Coming to terms with chronic illness

Stand Up To Cancer joined forces with Channel 4 on 19 October to raise awareness and funds to research the disease. Scientific advances mean that breakthroughs for cures to cancer could be within our lifetime and Stand Up To Cancer is raising money to accelerate the research that might make this a possibility to some cancer sufferers in three years.

With current figures of more than one in three people developing cancer in their lifetime, it is likely you know someone who is affected by the disease.
