First Retail Trust Master Class a great success
Timpson Chief Executive James Timpson OBE delivered the first in a series of Retail Trust Master Classes on Thursday (9 February).
The Master Class, which took place at the Fashion Retail Academy, saw 50 delegates in attendance as James gave an insight into the management model that has proved so successful for Timpson.
Each delegate left the Master Class having committed to three actions to take back to their businesses to implement.
The aims of the Master Class programme are to:
• Inspire middle managers in their first retail management role
• Learn from 'masters' in retail through them sharing their journey and experience
• Provide an opportunity for middle managers to share and discuss best practice
• Understand how to apply this learning back to work
Nigel J L Rothband said: “The Master Classes are a fantastic and free opportunity for first-time retail managers to develop their skills and learn more about retail. I would urge middle managers who are at the beginning of their retail journey to get in touch and sign up today."
