Inspiring the retail leaders of the future

Middle managers with particularly high potential have this week (18-24 August) been attending the Oxford Summer School Academy at Keble College in Oxford.

The seven-day intensive residential programme featured management exercises,  team-building events and social activities, plus presentations from speakers Ellen MacArthur DBE, Peter Fitzgerald Country Sales Director, Google UK, Stephen Robertson, Director General of the British Retail Consortium, and Tony Wheeler, Managing Director of Peter Jones.

Retail Trust offers scholarships to all three Oxford Summer School courses. The next course will be the Masters Level on 18 - 21 February 2013 - Egrove Park, Oxford. Find out about course funding opportunities.

We provide help and support to people whatever challenges they face. While retail offers unparalleled opportunities for people from diverse backgrounds, it has many people on or near the minimum wage, which currently stands at £6.08 for workers aged 21 and over. When something goes wrong, these people can be very vulnerable. Retail Trust has services in place to make sure that we can be there for those who need the support and assistance.
