Singing for the shoppers

That’s Retail Entertainment group provided top quality entertainment in Debenhams recently earning a whopping £10,162.69 to Retail Trust from the happy shoppers.

A big thank you very much to everyone involved for helping to raise these much-needed funds to help everyone in retail.

The concept of providing stores with entertainment in return for permission to raise vital funds for charity was originally devised by contemporary-classical singer and vocal coach, David Gregory back in October 2003.

About Retail Trust

Retail Trust is the only charity that looks after the needs of all three million people working in retail, plus those retired from the sector and its associated businesses. We provide help and support to people whatever challenges they face. While retail offers unparalleled opportunities for people from diverse backgrounds, it has many people on or near the minimum wage, which currently stands at £6.08 for workers aged 21 and over. When something goes wrong, these people can be very vulnerable. Retail Trust has services in place to make sure that we can be there for those who need the support and assistance.
