Crookfur Estate is set in a rolling 13 acre estate with beautiful garden grounds and offers a variety of accommodation including a care home, sheltered housing and extra care. Located half a mile from the nearest shopping centre, local amenities are easily accessible by bus.
Care and support is available 24 hours a day from our own team of staff and there are several health centres in the area. Complimentary transport is available twice weekly to assist residents with their shopping.
The estate is a vibrant community and residents take an active part in deciding how things happen. They run independent clubs and are consulted on matters that affect them.
Facilities and Activities
The Conservatory is a comfortable room in which to relax with neighbours or friends while taking in the beautiful grounds. The Community Centre at Fraser Hall is utilised by the estate’s residents who organise a range of clubs including carpet bowls, keep fit, bingo, games, film shows and concerts. We also have an Activities Organiser to encourage and support residents to take part in a variety of activities and outings. Other facilities include a computer room and a hairdressing salon. Chiropodists and beauticians visit the estate regularly.
