Location
Moores House, Liverpool was built in 2001 with funding from the Moores Family and is set in landscaped gardens which are situated close to historic St Mary’s on the Hill Church in Walton Village. The award-winning estate offers peaceful surroundings with a real community feeling.

Transport
Only a short distance from Liverpool City Centre, Moores House is well served with excellent transport links.  It is also very close to a thriving high street full of traditional shops, so you won’t need to go far to get everything you need.

Support
Moores House offers Extra Care sheltered housing accommodation, and all residents are offered ongoing support from our on-site support team providing each resident with an individually tailored support plan that meets their needs. Staff will also signpost residents to other agencies as and when required, enabling them to maintain their independence and maximise their entitlements.

Security
Your safety and security is very important to us at Moores House Liverpool so we offer 24/7 on-site support through an emergency call system which gives residents access to the emergency services, staff on-site or the Extra Care Housing Manager. We have an out of hours security team on-site 5pm to 8am Monday to Friday, and 3pm to 8am Saturday and Sunday.

Services
Moores House provides accommodation and a range of housing and support services that will enable residents to remain living independently in their own homes. We work with other agencies who provide care and medical services and we are close to a number of Health Centres and Hospitals.

Activities
Our Tenants’ Association plays an active part in deciding the programme of activities for Liverpool Moores House. With a real community feeling, you will be spoilt for choice for things to do and choose from, including film screenings, reminiscence afternoons, sing-a-long sessions, regular coffee mornings and afternoon tea. Our residents are encouraged to keep fit with exercise classes and by taking part in Qigong, a soft flexing exercise for all abilities and by using our very own Wii Fit!

Facilities
A three course lunch is provided for all residents every day in the dining room. Residents have the use of a TV lounge with book, CD, DVD and games libraries. We have a small shop on-site, a hairdressing salon, laundry facilities and a computer room. We also have a spacious communal lounge with kitchen facilities that is used for resident activities and is also available for special occasions. Come and join in with the community activities.         

Features
Our one and two-bedroom purpose built flats all have disabled access with an emergency assistance system in each flat, as well as night-time security seven days per week. These features enable residents to live independently in their own homes. Each charming flat features a reception hall, lounge/dining room, a kitchen with a range of quality matching units fridge freezer, hob and microwave oven, a large double bedroom with built-in wardrobe, shower room/wet room fitted to a very high standard, central heating and sealed unit double glazing. 

Access
Within Retail Trust’s retirement estate in Liverpool, we offer a lift to all floors, a mobility scooter and motorised wheelchair store, car parking, landscaped gardens, an Extra Care Housing Manager, the care and assistance of our dedicated staff teams and much more. Event Hire
Various areas within Liverpool Moores House are available for hire for private functions, meetings, birthdays and other bespoke events. The venues can cater for 5-30 people and catering prices for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks are available upon request. Both half day and full day hire is available.
