Are you ready for the Apprenticeship Levy?

The government is currently undertaking a major reform of apprenticeships - How they look, the way they're funded, and how employers access it. 

Employers will have to pay an apprenticeship levy for payroll costs above £3m p.a and will be implemented in April 2017, supporting the governments key strategic and electoral target of delivering 3 million apprenticeship starting during the five-year lifetime of the current parliament.

The introduction of the levy has prompted a number of employers in the retail sector to think about how they might use their levy accounts within their own businesses.
