Amy’s career in the not-for-profit sector began over 12 years ago where she was one of 500 winners on the Vodafone’s World of Difference programme who were given the chance to work for their dream charity and get paid. From there, she has worked for a number of charities across a variety of roles including Whizz-Kids and The Youth Business International.
Amy oversees all operational aspects of the organisation, including HR, IT and Data Insights. As part of her role, she leads a number of teams to support the Trust’s growth strategy by streamlining and integrating people, processes and systems capability to drive operational effectiveness to enable the charity to deliver upon its mission.
Amy is passionate and committed to driving positive societal change, breaking down barriers and challenging social norms where everyone feels valued and can bring the best version of themselves to work. She is an Ambassador for the Retail Week Be Inspired campaign, supporting future female leaders of retail and a Trustee for the Albert Kennedy Trust that provides safe homes and better futures for LGBTQ+ young people.
