End-point assessment is the final independent assessment that an apprentice needs to undertake to ensure that they are competent in the role they have been training for.

Our senior team have been involved in developing the brand new apprenticeship standards for the sector, including the creation of gRADuate, the first retail apprenticeship degrees. We have been closely involved in writing the end-point assessment plans, and we know what is required to deliver a high quality end-point assessment service.

Trained and experienced industry experts

We are recruiting staff who are facing redundancy from the retail sector to manage and perform our end-point assessment processes. We have an ongoing commitment to ensure that their sector knowledge is kept up to date. 

Every member of the assessment team completes a full training programme into the standards that they will be assessing. We are ensuring that as well as having first class technical ability, our assessors have the skills to allow the apprentice to demonstrate the very best of their own competency in the role. 

Not-for-profit organisation

As the retail sector’s wellbeing charity, our driving principles focus on the person, not profit. This means that our rates for end-point assessment will be the most competitive in the sector and up to 20% cheaper than existing providers. 

Helping apprentices to prepare

We will provide your apprentice with the best support and preparation materials to allow them to fully prepare for their end-point assessment. Our resources are aimed at ensuring that the apprentice feels confident in taking their final assessment. 

We will also offer personalised digital wellbeing support through for the duration of the apprenticeship.

Efficient and professional approach to end-point assessment

retailTRUST uses the Smart End-point Assessment (SEPA) system to manage the whole process, from registration through to gateway, and the assessments.

The system has an integrated smart room facility with a virtual meeting environment for assessors to engage with apprentices, employers and training providers.
