Level 3 Retail Team Leader Apprenticeship

retailTRUST Level 3

We offer an independent end-point assessment service for the Level 3 Retail Team Leader Apprenticeship standard.

  1. On-demand test – a multiple-choice test with 40 questions which is usually taken online. The apprentice has 60 minutes to complete the test and 5 minutes to prepare.
  2. Retail business project – the apprentice must write a project report, following a set structure. They will also have to present their findings to a retailTRUST assessor and answer questions at the end. The presentation lasts 30 minutes.
  3. Professional discussion – a one-hour assessment involving a question and answer session between the apprentice and the assessor. The discussion provides an opportunity to further test the apprentice’s knowledge, skills and behaviours against the assessment plan.

We offer both face-to-face and remote assessments depending on the requirements of the apprenticeship standard.

We use a secure system for administering the on-demand test. We also offer a paper-based test option depending on the needs of the apprentice.

End-point assessment guides

We support employers, training providers, apprentices and line managers. Our selection of in-depth guides can help individuals understand the process as well as their responsibilities. We would like every apprentice to be prepared as possible so they can demonstrate their capabilities during the end-point assessment.

The content has been tested with training providers within the retail sector and adapted so that the information is relevant to each audience. To access our guides, please contact Joe Ryan, End-Point Assessment Manager, at [email protected]
