Simon leads his fourth-generation family business, which is the leading supplier of paints and decorating materials in the UK. The Group operates four main brands: Brewers Decorator Centres, The Paint Shed, Wallpaperdirect which trades in the USA as well as the UK and the Albany paint brand which is sold across all facias and also through wholesale.
Simon is passionate about business being a force for good amongst the communities in which it operates and more generally for society as a whole. The Brewers Group vision is ‘to play it’s part in making the world a brighter place’ and the Brewers business has been built on offering the very best service and advice to customers – both trade and DIY.
The business focuses on colleague knowledge and development with three practical learning academies. Simon is a trustee of two company supported foundations that develop long term partnerships with charities working with marginalised people both in the UK and overseas. Colleagues from the business are encouraged to be involved both locally and with regular working visits to support projects in Africa.
