Retail Director, UK & Ireland, Holland & Barrett
Harj Josson is the UK & Ireland retail director at Holland & Barrett.
Harj joined Holland & Barrett in March 2020 as director of stores for central and east before taking the lead for the London and southeast division. He was promoted to retail stores director in November 2023 and subsequently to retail director in December 2024.
In his current role, Harj leads the UK & Ireland store estate of over 800 stores, alongside central operations, space and format and retail implementation.
Throughout his retail career, Harj has played a leading role in driving performance, building high-performing leadership teams and delivering large-scale organisational change.
Within Holland & Barrett, Harj is recognised for building collaborative relationships across the organisation, maintaining a strong focus on performance and demonstrating a clear commitment to the company’s purpose of supporting customer health and wellness. Over the last two years, he has been instrumental in driving the transformation of the retail estate as Holland & Barrett evolves into an experiential, services-led business.
Harj also leads Holland & Barrett’s relationship with the Retail Trust, the charity that promotes the happiness and interests of those engaged in the retail trade.
