Chief People and Legal Officer, Pets at Home
Lucy is the Chief People and Legal Officer for Pets at Home. She qualified as a solicitor and worked in private practice as a commercial lawyer, before initially joining Pets at Home in 2011, working in various roles in the Legal Team. She left Pets in 2017 to join Arla Foods, the Danish dairy cooperative and one of the largest FMCG business in the UK, as their Head of Legal. She returned to Pets at Home in 2019 as Group Legal Director and was appointed to the role of Company Secretary in 2020. Lucy was appointed to the role of Chief Legal Officer in 2022 and then to Chief People and Legal Officer in 2023. She has a wide remit of responsibility for the Legal and People Teams, together with Communications, Sustainability, Procurement, H&S and Insurance, and Data Protection.
