Matthew is a passionate retailer with a great track record in balancing the demands of customers, colleagues and shareholders.
Matthew joined Currys in January 2024, having previously been the Vice President of retail of the British supermarket chain, Asda. In this role, he supported the transition from Asda Walmart to a private equity business, growing like-for-like sales 6%, while leading Asda’s work on values.
Before his role at Asda, Matthew held senior leadership and operational roles at ALDI, Morrisons PLC and the Coop Group.
