Hugh fraser estate - staying connected

In these extremely testing times, connecting with loved ones is particularly important for residents across our supported living estates.

As we transform our retirement estates and roll out connected living, we have been helping residents remain in touch with their friends and family members through smart home technology.

Feedback from our residents

“I get total reassurance that someone is there that I can call upon and I am connected to my relatives, staff and people through my Alexa in these difficult times.”

“I feel safe and protected and I know there is help at hand if I need it.”

“I am not lonely anymore and I know I can talk to people and staff which is so helpful.”

“I love my flat, it’s the best move I have ever made. I think the staff are very nice and helpful, nothing is a bother when you ask for advice or help. I love my Alexa and love learning new things with it that I never knew before.”

“I love my flat compared to where I used to stay, there are no stairs that I need to climb and I can get out and about in the community. I love how it’s nice and warm and the layout makes it so much easier to move around and clean. I love my Alexa and love playing my music and getting information from it.”

“Best move I have made. It is like being in paradise.”

“There are choices about living here, people don’t need to feel lonely or being on their own. There is always something going on or someone is always willing to help you which is nice.”
