Head of UK Commercial Surveying Property Management, Savills
Richard has been with Savills for over 22 years, building a wealth of experience across the business. He established the property management team in Bristol, where he successfully led the team from 2006 to 2015 and then moved to London to take on the role of head of london retail management. In 2025, Richard became UK head of retail and leisure, and now sits on the property and facilities divisional board.
Alongside his surveying responsibilities, Richard works closely with clients as a retail sponsor, helping them identify and invest in innovative new companies. He is also involved with the Retailers Property Association (RPA) where he supports greater collaboration across the commercial property sector.
Known for his approachable and collaborative leadership style, Richard brings strong organisational skills and a practical mindset to everything he does. He is passionate about continuous improvement and developing those around him, making him a highly respected and valued leader within the business.
