Founder, Impactful Places
Vivienne King is an award-winning built environment expert and the founder of Impactful Places, an independent advisory firm specialising in strategic sustainability support for the real estate industry, with a focus on long-term investment value.
Vivienne has held leadership positions in real estate for more than 30 years, with C-suite experience across a wide range of sectors. Prior to founding Impactful Places in 2024, she was head of real estate at The Good Economy. She also served as CEO of Revo and, before that, as CEO of retail real estate business Soho Ltd and Soho Housing Association, overseeing its affordable and market housing operations in the heart of London’s West End. She spent more than 20 years at The Crown Estate, serving as general counsel, director of corporate operations and a member of its executive committee. Vivienne is a qualified solicitor with a background in representing retail businesses.
Vivienne is a board member of the Churches Conservation Trust and serves on its finance and audit committee and commercial and partnerships committee. She is vice president of law firm Davitt Jones Bould; chairs the Shopkeepers Campaign, which advocates for business rates reform for retailers; is Immediate Past Chair and a current board member of Revo; chairs the Patrons Group of diversity, equity and inclusion organisation Real Estate Balance; is a LandAid Patron; and serves as executive vice president of the Story of Christmas charity.
In 2023, Vivienne was inducted into the Property Week Hall of Fame in recognition of her contribution to the real estate industry.
