How it works
Every Friday, your unique lottery number (issued by Unity lottery) is entered into the draw.
Winning numbers are randomly selected, and if your digits match three, four, five, or all six numbers in the correct sequence, you win a prize!
You can enter as many times as you like – each £1 entry increases your chances of winning while also supporting our work.
What happens if I win?
Winners are contacted automatically by Unity lottery; there’s no need to claim!
Prizes are sent directly to lucky winners.
What are my odds of winning?
Prizes are based on a match system:
The lottery is a number match game. A random six-digit winning number sequence is generated, if your digits are in same positions as the digits in the winning number sequence, you win a prize!
For example, if the winning number sequence was 123456, the lottery number 163057 would be a three-digit winning match, because three digits are positioned in the same place in the sequence.
- Six digits in order = £25,000
- Five digits in order = £1,000
- Four digits in order = £25
- Three digits in order = five free entries

From 1832 onwards, the Retail Trust has been caring for and protecting the lives of people working in retail. We believe that the health of our colleagues is the foundation they need to flourish in both work and life, creating a more sustainable and successful future for retail.
We support current and former retail colleagues in several ways, including providing non-repayable financial aid to those struggling with a range of financial difficulties because of an unexpected change in circumstances, redundancy or health conditions.
We also provide a much-needed safe and happy community in our five supported-living estates across the UK, where over 450 residents can fully enjoy the highest quality of life in their later years.

1. Cost of entry
Each entry into The Retail Trust charity lottery costs £1 per week

The lottery draw takes place every Friday

4. Licence and promoter information
The Retail Trust Lottery is operated under licence from the Gambling Commission. The promoter of this lottery is Unity lottery, on behalf of the Retail Trust, registered charity in England and Wales (1090136) and in Scotland (SC039684).
5. External lottery manager
Unity is a common brand lottery jointly promoted by Sterling Management Centre Limited and individual society lotteries. Each Lottery operated under Unity is a separate licensed lottery, operated by and supporting that particular good cause. Unity is administered by Sterling Management Centre Limited, licensed and regulated in Great Britain by The Gambling Commission under account number 3137.
6. Odds of winning a prize
- Match three digits: 1 in 69 (five free entries into the next draw)
- Match four digits: 1 in 823 (£25 prize)
- Match five digits: 1 in 18,518 (£1,000 prize)
- Match six digits: 1 in 1,000,000 (£25,000 jackpot)
7. Profit split breakdown
For every £1 entry:
- A minimum of 50p goes directly to the Retail Trust so that we can continue to create hope, health and happiness for everyone in retail.
- The remaining 50p is used for prizes and administration costs.

Retail Trust lottery terms and conditions
Please gamble responsibly. Players must be aged 18 or over and reside in the UK. Minimum entry is £1 per week. There is no limit to the number of winners each week or how many times you win. Winning numbers are drawn at random on Fridays and displayed weekly on the Unity lottery website.
