Matthew is a passionate retailer with a great track record in balancing the demands of customers, colleagues, and shareholders. He joined Currys in January 2024, having previously been Vice President of Retail at Asda.
Matthew supported the transition from Asda Walmart to a private equity business and delivered like-for-like sales growth of 6% while leading Asda’s work on values.
Prior to Asda, Matthew held senior leadership and operational roles at ALDI, Morrisons PLC, and The Co-op Group.
